The MMRF has been instrumental in my 15 year battle with multiple myeloma. Through their efforts they have helped bring 15+ FDA approved therapies to market that have greatly increased life expectancy and improved quality of life for patients like me. I am extremely excited at the opportunity to be a member of the Moving Mountains for Multiple Myeloma Greenland Team. The purpose of our team is to raise awareness and funds for research on multiple myeloma, the second most common blood cancer. Our 14 member team will trek the challenging terrain of eastern Greenland for five days in July. We have set a goal of raising $150,000, all of which will go directly toward researching new treatment options for thousands of myeloma patients like me.
